Joseph M. Erpelding, M.D.
Dr. Erpelding graduated with his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine. He completed both his Internship and Residency at the Madigan Army Medical Center in Fort Lewis, WA. Dr. Erpelding has since received additional training in Adult Reconstructive Surgery and Complex Trauma/Sports Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
Currently, Dr. Erpelding is on staff at Orthopedic Surgeons P.S.C., as well as affiliating himself with St. Vincent Hospital and Health Center and Deaconess Medical Center.
In addition to his clinical appointments, Dr. Erpelding maintains a number of professional affiliations. He is an active member of:
- Amercian Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons - Fellow
- American Medical Association
- Academic Orthopedic Society
- Society of Military Orthopedic Surgeons, Past President
Dr. Erpelding is retired from the U.S. Army but serves as an Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. In addition he finds time to serve as an Adjunct Clinical Professor at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, MT.
